Why battery health drops ?

(1) How does the battery health drop?
A brand new iPhone battery needs to be discharged for about 500 times before it drops to about 80%. The discharge cycle means that 100% of the power is used to 0 at one time, which is a discharge cycle.

Or when you use 75% of the battery at one time, then fully charge the device and use 25% of the battery, it's also a discharge cycle.
(2) Why are batteries becoming less durable?
A charging cycle means a complete charging process of the battery, that is to say, when the battery usage reaches 100% of the battery capacity from 0%, a charging cycle is completed. Each time the battery completes a charging cycle, the number of charges will increase by 1
When the number of charging times reaches a certain level, the battery capacity will decrease a little bit each time the battery completes a charging cycle. That's why batteries are getting less and less durable.
The battery health will drop slowly as the number of charging times increases.
(3) How to check the charging times?
If you want to know how many times your iPhone has been charged, you can go to the nearest Apple official after-sales service outlet or an Apple Authorized Service Provider outlet for testing.
(4) Does it have to replace the battery when the battery health drops to 80%?
When the iPhone battery health is below 80%, it is better to replace the battery .This is the official recommendation from Apple.
Why ? Because when the health is lower than 80%, the system will forcibly turn on the performance management function, and iPhone may become relatively stuck in some cases, and this problem can be completely solved by replacing the battery.
