Auto Power-off
① Firstly, determine whether it is a cell phone problem.
a) Download iTools to check battery parameters.
b) Check the iTools whether display the actual capacity and the battery temperature is more than 56℃.
Solution: If the battery data is abnormal, please check whether the battery connector is in good contact with the phone; The battery should be defective if the data is still abnotmal after reinstallation.
② Defective battery
a) There are cracks in the FPC, resulting in poor power supply.
Solution: Replace the FPC.
b) Protection board is damaged by the large current.
Solution: Replace the protection board.
c) Battery cell internal short circuit, cell voltage is reduced instantly.
Solution: Replace the battery.
2. Can not turn on or Reboot
Status : the phone reboot when charging, no reaction if not press power button.
① The battery without using and no charging for a long time, resulting in the battery voltage below 3.4V.
Solution： Recharging activation.
(It is recommended the charging current shall be 5V/1A for about 30 minutes, and the unused battery should be charged every 3 months）
② Battery protection board IC cold solder joint, resulting in battery voltage output abnormal.
Solution: Return battery for maintenance.
③ FPC cold solder joint, fractured.
Solution: Return battery for maintenance.
④ Connector cold solder joint or damaged.
Solution: Return battery for maintenance.
⑤ The battery connector is not in contact well with the phone.
Solution: Reinstall the battery and make sure the battery is in good contact with the phone.
3. Not charging or not fully charging
Not charging
① The battery connector is not in contact well with the phone.
Solution: Reinstall the battery and make sure the battery is in good contact with the phone.
② Protection board IC cold solder joint, resulting in battery voltage output abnormal.
Solution: Return battery for maintenance.
③ FPC cold solder joint, fractured.
Solution: Return battery for maintenance.
④ Connector cold solder joint or damaged.
Solution: Return battery for maintenance.
⑤ The phone cable is bad.
Solution: Change the cable.
⑥ The phone charger is bad.
Solution: Change the charger.
⑦ Check whether the cell phone charging port is damaged.
Solution: Replace cell phone charging port.
Not fully charging
⑧ The battery can not be fully charged after a few months of using
Solution: Please confirm whether there is a new iOS system that has not been upgraded. This may be caused by the change in the power calculation method after the new iOS system is upgraded. Please upgrade the iOS system.
⑨ The battery can not be fully charged after upgrading to the latest iOS system.
Solution: Check "Settings—Battery" on the phone to see if the battery health displays "Service". If it is “Service”, please confirm whether the iOS system upgrade successfully. It is most likely caused by data error during the iOS upgrading. It is recommended to update again.
4. Abnormal battery power display, Battery power change suddenly
① There would be a voltage difference while the battery charging, the battery power would be about 3% difference in a moment.
Solution: It would be stable after a few minutes.
② The battery connector is not in contact well with the phone.
Solution: Reinstall the battery and make sure the battery is in good contact with the phone.
③ FPC cold solder joint, fractured.
Solution: Return battery for maintenance.
④ Abnormal battery data of power.
Solution: Using iTools or other test machine to check battery parameters.
⑤ Battery power change suddenly while using or charging in the first few cycle times.
Solution: The new battery takes time to be compatiable with iOS system, the battery power would be about 10% difference, and it would be stable after two or three fully charging and discharging.
⑥ Battery power change suddenly after a few months.
Solution: The battery power change is also related to the use environment, especially in winter or northern weather. The battery cannot discharge so much when the temperature is too low.
